FILLINGS

A dental restoration, or dental filling, is a dental restorative material used to restore the function of missing tooth structure. The structural loss typically is a result of decay, or external trauma.  

Dental restorations may be fabricated out of a variety of materials including direct or lab processed composite fillings, and porcelain or gold restorations.
